Superintendent’s Message
It is with each caveat of improvement, student
success, and measure of sustainability that the
District implemented, that we will continue our
Mission Forward in the upcoming school year,
this time extending its reach. I am proud to
announce our newest Mission Forward iteration:
“Mission Forward: Go For The Gold At All Times",
which will serve as the guide during the
2025-2026 school year!

As Superintendent of the Jersey City Public
School District, it is my distinct pleasure to
present our community with the Superintendent’s
Annual Report for the 2024-2025 school year.
This annual report provides a comprehensive
overview of the many facets of our organization,
demonstrating how we function as a cohesive
unit to effectively and efficiently serve the second
largest school system in New Jersey: the Jersey
City Public School District!
In the 2024-2025 school year we worked to
faithfully implement our “Mission Forward: Go For
The Gold” initiative. Our 2024-2025 school year
was a resounding success with our students
consistently meeting the high expectations
established by our cutting edge District and the
dedicated educators.

From facilities to test scores, and every step in
between, the Jersey City Public School District
remains steadfast in its vision of success and
commitment to our inherent community promises.
These promises include educating the children of
Jersey City and providing a nurturing physical
and emotional environment that fosters the
confidence to thrive once they graduate high
school and beyond. As a District, we will Go For
The Gold At All Times by continuing to fortify the
partnerships which have been established with
parents, dynamic educational and community
organizations, strengthening the net of resources
available to our students and their families.
Join me, as you always have, in forging ahead
with this vital mission. Together, let’s elevate our
expectations even further, inspiring every student
and every member of the community to not just
complete this Mission Forward, but to truly Go For
The Gold At All Times in the exciting school year
ahead- driving excellence in every endeavor!
