Medical Emergency - In the event of a medical emergency that may
require your immediate presence, your child’s school must have on file a
phone number and address at which you, the child’s parent or guardian,
can be reached. The telephone number of a relative or neighbor who
will know where you may be contacted is also needed. If you move or
change jobs, please remember to update your child’s emergency
information by contacting the school office. This information will be
used only in medical emergencies. No treatment beyond first aid can be
given at any hospital without parental consent.

Medications – Any student who must receive medication during the
school day must have the medication handcarried to school by a parent
or guardian and given to the school nurse. Physician’s orders for
dispensing of medication must also accompany the medication.
Students may not carry medication with them during the school day.

Health Policies – Please notify the school if your child is absent because
of a communicable disease so that we may safeguard the health of the
other students. For more information, please call your child’s school
nurse. For emergencies that require immediate attention, please dial
