Superintendent's Message
Dear Jersey City Public School District Community,
As we transition through the academic year, I am pleased to share this message as part of our latest edition of Liberty Lines.
Its purpose is to establish a unified focus, guiding all members of our community—students, staff, and families—to support
our students on their path to success.
My message remains centered on a fundamental truth: The students of the Jersey City Public School District are our
greatest resource and asset. They are the emerging leaders and community shapers of tomorrow, and their current
dedication and growth are paramount.
As we conclude the second marking period and look ahead, let us collectively reaffirm the importance of every learner in
our school community and the community at large. We encourage all students to internalize their immense value, a value
mirrored by their families and the entire district. Great achievements are ahead this school year, and our students will
realize them through their unwavering academic dedication and commitment .
To maximize student focus and engagement, we continue to uphold the District’s “Less is Best” cellphone policy. By
adhering to this guideline, students can strengthen their connection with classmates and teachers, which in turn reinforces
their resolve to succeed academically and personally.
Families, your partnership is essential. Let us continue to work together in the spirit of "Go for The Gold At All Times,"
assisting your child as they navigate the rigorous and rewarding journey of this school year. Your support at home is a
critical complement to the dedication and instruction provided in our classrooms.
