Campaign Kick Off
Pop-Up Event
The Office of Communications, in conjunction with
Whitney M. Young Jr. Community School, PS #15, held a
back to school pop-up event with vendors from the city
and county to celebrate being part of our cutting edge
school district!
Hundreds upon hundreds of residents, joined by
Superintendent Dr. Norma Fernández, JCPS Senior
Leadership, City Council Members, and community
organizers, celebrated all Jersey City Public School District
has to offer!
A barbecue lunch was provided, while backpacks, school
supplies, and uniform giveaways drew crowds!
Community partners offered resources, support
connections, and a host of services to all who attended. A
village of enormous bounce houses, community talent
performances, and wonderful music entertained the
youngest of the participants.
